A little about the writer

Hello, I’m Ian.

Every book I’ve written began with a thought or an idea. Then came the question: what if? What if that idea were real? Where could it lead? That question became a story—and it’s how I found my way into writing.

I’m an independent author based in Ireland, and I follow those questions wherever they take me: imagined futures, forgotten origins, quiet love stories and adventures for children. The genres change, but that curiosity is always there.

Some parts come from closer to home. My own dogs, Jodie and Khaleesi, appear in Where We Finally Belong, bringing a little of the warmth they give me into its pages.

What I hope you take away is a “what if?” of your own. Perhaps my story starts another idea in your mind—one you can grow into something bigger, imagine differently, or turn into a story to tell someone else.

My story can be the beginning.
